Cambridge Green Party

Young Greens

Many members of Cambridge Green Party are Young Greens (Greens under 30). The Young Greens is the youth arm of the national Green Party of England and Wales, and Cambridge Young Greens is a sub-branch of the national Young Greens.

We seek to get together to campaign, raise awareness of issues relating to politics, the economy, the environment etc., and to try to get governments, local authorities and society to listen to our voices. We also wish to hold exchanges with other Young Green movements from other countries. Most importantly, we also like to have fun together!

Adam Pogonowski currently organises the fledgling Cambridge Young Greens and we seek to get more people on board.

So if you're under 30, interested in getting involved in Green issues, helping out with Cambridge's election campaigns (local and general), wanting to meet more similiarly minded youngsters, or wanting to have fun and be engaged, then please visit the YGs website, or contact ygcambridge@googlemail.com for more information!
